We all have ONE QUESTION that we ask ourselves all the time.
Pay attention to that question because it affects the quality of your life.
If it’s a good question, it will ignite all aspects of your life.
It will make you feel good.
If it’s a lousy question, it will deflate you faster than you can say, “Good morning.”
It will make you feel lousy.
And, get this: We ask this question first thing in the morning and we usually answer it before we go to bed at night.
“How’d I get to be so lucky?”
Or…
“What else can go wrong today?”
It’s the difference between
“I am grateful.”
And…
“My life sucks.”
Tony Robbins calls this your “Primary Question.” It lurks in the background of your mind. You probably don’t even hear yourself asking it anymore. Depending on the question, it will either lift you up or bring you down.
First thing in the morning.
And last thing at night.
So, as you can imagine, it’s a good idea to start paying attention to your Primary Question. Don’t let it happen by default. Become aware of it, and if it’s not inspiring you to do great things, well then, get rid of it. Toss it. Kick it in the ass. If it’s not helpful, it’s a lousy question.

Start by asking yourself a better question as soon as you wake up in the morning.
“What am I grateful for?”
“How will I take care of myself today?”
“How will I show my family I love them today?”
“What do I need to change in order to grow?”
“Who can I inspire today?”
“Where do I want to go today?”
“How can I create a Gutsy Glorious Life?”
One of the first things I ask my life coaching clients is: What’s the ONE QUESTION you tend to ask yourself over and over again? And that’s not always an easy question to answer.
Sometimes we need to nudge ourselves out of our thinking, but first we need to understand where it starts.
Pay attention to the question you keep asking yourself.
Make sure it’s a good one.
