I ACTUALLY LOVE MY MONDAYS.
It’s not like I’m happy the weekend is over; it’s more like I don’t feel a whole lot different on a Monday than I do on a Friday. I look forward to just about every day these days, but I’m especially proud that I can genuinely say, “THANK GOODNESS IT’S MONDAY”
I used to dread Mondays. Looking back on my college days I can see how far away I was from thank goodness it’s Monday. I remember the feeling of dread that would start to creep in early on Sunday, a feeling that could sometimes ruin what would otherwise be a perfectly good day.
At this stage of my life (I call it stage “This Is MY Time”) I do not want to waste a perfectly good day of the week, including my precious Mondays.
Such is the life of a location-independent entrepreneur who found a way to combine her life experience as a television news journalist, a lawyer, and life coach(!) to create a whole new “thing” at this stage of her life.
Do YOU feel that way about Mondays?
Are you chomping at the bit to build a coaching business?
If not, why not?
Because that’s how you should expect to feel… every Monday (and Tuesday and Wednesday and Thursday and Friday); not only because of your business but because you’ve set your whole life up to lift you UP.
It doesn’t matter how old you are.
It doesn’t matter that you’ve never done anything like this before.
It doesn’t matter if other people think you’re crazy.
You’re not crazy… you’re gutsy.
LET ME ASK YOU THIS: Would rather feel embarrassed for having tried something that didn’t work, or regret for not having had the guts to follow your heart?
And what if it would’ve worked? Could you stand not ever knowing?
It’s not true that your best decades are behind you.
In fact, what if your best years are still in front of you?
You don’t have to be a twenty-something to get excited about building an internet business.
Age has nothing to do with it.
Let me repeat that…
AGE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!
The only difference between a twenty-something and you is that they’ve usually got GUTS to try new things. That’s it. They’re not smarter… they’re eager. They’re hungry.
Are you eager? Hungry? Gutsy? If so, then I promise you the best decades of your life await you.
You absolutely CAN build a five, six, or seven figure business… you get to decide!
If a five-figure business suits you, do that.
If you want seven figures, you’re entitled to go for that.
Whatever you do… don’t tell yourself you’re too old, or that the internet is for “young people.”
That’s a cop out.
Focus on this: Your life experience. Those crazy kids don’t have that!
You’re also smart enough to figure things out (and, guess what? You don’t have to be smarter than that).
Greatness isn’t only for the young.
It’s for you, too. And me.
